Herbal Teas and The Benefits:

Herbal teas, also called Tisanes, are very similar to White teas, whereas they contain a blend of herbs, spices, fruits or other plants in addition to tea leaves. Herbal teas does not contain caffeine.

Chamomile – may be used to help reduce menstrual pain and muscle spasms, to improve sleep and relaxation, and to reduce stress

Ginger – may be used to help fight against morning sickness, but may also be used to treat chronic indigestion and relieve joint pain caused by osteoarthritis

Hibiscus – may be used to help lower blood pressure and fat levels, to improves overall liver health. Hibiscus may also be use to help stave off cravings for unhealthy sweets, and also prevent the formation of kidney stones

Rooibos – may be used to help improve blood pressure and circulation, to boost good cholesterol while lowering bad cholesterol, to help manage hair strength and healthy skin, and to promote relief from allergies

Peppermint – contains menthol which may be use to help soothe upset stomachs while preventing constipation, irritable bowel syndrome and motion sickness. Peppermint tea can also offer pain relief from tension headaches and migraines.
